As part of the "One Artist, One Monument" program initiated by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, artist Fabrice Hyber is transforming the water mirror at Villa Cavrois with his green men and women from Bessines. The artist will present several works, and a 500 m² vegetable garden will be created at the back of the park.
After installing his green men in the basin of the Domaine National du Palais Royal for the thirtieth anniversary of the Homme de Bessines, Fabrice Hyber is now showcasing his creations at Villa Cavrois. Thirty-five green men and women from Bessines will occupy the entire space of the water mirror. His POF (Prototypes of Functioning Objects) will take up all the rooms of the villa. In parallel, the artist is designing a 500 m² vegetable garden on the fallow land at the back of the park.
Having been present on the international art scene for over twenty years, Fabrice Hyber works through accumulation, proliferation, and hybridization, constantly shifting between drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, video, as well as business and commerce.
